COACHING

At the British International School of New York I created the first school sports team, track and field. In a three-month period I successfully organized, planned, and presented a semester-long track and field program to the administration. At a school that did not intend to have any sports teams in the near future, I turned the possibility into a reality. The creation of the team took constant coordination with school administrators, board members and parents. Organization was vital for presenting the facts, figures, and logistics to all those involved. As head coach, I continually planned, monitored, assessed and revised each athlete’s ability and goals for the season. As a competitive high school and Division 1 college athlete in Cross Country and Track and Field, I have first-hand experience of what it takes to strive for and achieve goals. Delayed gratification is something I am far too familiar with and is just one of the life concepts that members of my team learned in order to succeed not only in Track and Field, but also in academics. I have a strong desire to coach cross country, track and field, and soccer at any of my future schools.
